The Crown: 

  • Location: The very top of the head

  • Representation: Represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually

  • Emotional association: Inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality, pure bliss

  • Physical association: Pineal gland, brain, nervous system

 
 

The Root Chakra:

  • Location: Base of the spine

  • Representation: our foundation and feeling of being grounded

  • Emotional association: Survival issues such as financial independence, money, and food

  • Physical association: Spine, rectum, legs, arms, circulatory issues

The Sacral Chakra:

  • Location: Lower abdomen about 2 inches below the navel

  • Representation: Our connections, feelings, acceptance, sexual energy, and pleasure

  • Emotional association: Ability to express feeling and emotions in a healthy way, well-being, pleasure, sexuality, ability to set healthy boundaries

  • Physical association: Reproductive organs, Kidneys, bowels, immune system

The Solar Plexus:

  • Location: Upper abdomen in the stomach area

  • Representation: Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives

  • Emotional association: Self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem

  • Physical association: Central nervous system, pancreas, liver, digestive tract, skin

 

 The Heart:

  • Location: Center of the chest 

  • Representation: Our ability to give and receive love

  • Emotional Association: Love, joy, inner peace, forgiveness

  • Physical Association: Heart, thymus, lower lungs, circulation system, immune system

The Throat:

  • Location: Throat

  • Representation: Our ability to communicate and listen

  • Emotional association: Communication, self-expression of feelings, and your truth

  • Physical association: Thyroid, respiratory system, teeth, vocal cords

The Third Eye:

  • Location: Forehead between the eyebrows

  • Representation: Our ability to focus and see the big picture and intuition

  • Emotional association: intuition, imagination, wisdom, ability to think, and make decisions

  • Physical association: Pituitary glands, eyes, sinuses
